How Yoga Changed My Life (—and how clemasana came to life)

A few years ago, I was living a life that checked all the boxes. A stable job, a steady routine, a future that looked “successful” from the outside.
But inside? I was restless.
Disconnected from myself. Craving something I couldn’t quite name—freedom, purpose, aliveness.I was surviving, not thriving.
Then yoga found me—or maybe I found it. Not just the poses, but the path.
Yoga cracked me open.It gave me the space to slow down, to feel again, to breathe. To hear the quiet whispers of my soul that had been buried under the noise.
With every inhale and exhale, I started shedding who I thought I should be… and slowly, I met who I really am.
Yoga didn’t just change my life. It saved it.
It taught me how to come home—to my breath, my body, my joy, my truth.
That homecoming is what led to the creation of clemasana.
I didn’t want to go back to a life that looked good but felt empty.I wanted to build something rooted in intention and truth. clemasana was born from that desire—to share the practices that helped me heal and awaken, to create experiences that reconnect people to nature, to community, and to their own light.
clemasana is not just a brand. It’s my heart. It’s every sunrise meditation. Every salty savasana by the sea. Every brave soul I’ve guided back to their center.
It’s French, English, Spanish. It’s softness and strength. It’s a celebration of presence, courage, and freedom.
Today, I live on a small Caribbean island—teaching yoga in the jungle, leading soulful retreats, and living a life that feels both expansive and peaceful. I still travel, I dive deep (in the ocean and within), and I keep learning what it means to live with intention.
I’m growing. I’m loving. I’m working on myself. And I’m deeply, deeply grateful. What a life.
If something in you is craving more — more connection, more freedom, more truth—trust that. You’re not alone. And it’s never too late to come home to yourself.
Welcome to clemasana. Welcome home.
Namaste,
Clem
